My room had charming decor while findings like dust on lampshades annoyed me.

Stunning sea views from rooms, unique bar environment, charming historical property
Dated furnishings lower the overall appeal!!! Traffic noise from lower floors disrupts sleep!!! Smelly rooms due to humidity suggest a need for improved air quality!!!

Totally recommend for overnight stay
Comfortable room, delicious breakfast, with a stunning sea view that made my stay enjoyable, especially appreciated the full English breakfast which was fresh and tasty, and the quick access to beach activities like cycling and fishing nearby.
Nothing could have been better.

The guest house is in a prime spot just steps from the seafront, making it easy to stroll to the local shops and enjoy delightful attractions like the Pavilion Theatre. The owners, Martin and Jane, made us and our dog feel right at home.
My kids wished for more outdoor play options during our stay.

Had a blast with friends. We enjoyed exploring the Pavilion Theatre and Connaught Theatre nearby. The rooms were cozy and the fresh breakfast was on point. Martyn was super chill and helpful. The location was spot on with a nice sea view. Definitely consider this place if you're in the area! You won’t regret it.
The only downside was that we didn’t have enough time to hang out at the cozy bar downstairs.

We had a lovely two-night stay and really enjoyed the excellent breakfast options. The quick check-in courtesy from Martyn. Relaxing on the sun terrace with a stunning sea view was a highlight, though the traffic noise at night was a bit bothersome. If you're sensitive to sound, consider asking for a room on an upper floor! 🏖️

The location is perfect, sitting right by the seafront, making it easy to soak up the atmosphere. The breakfast options, including a customizable full English, hit the spot every time, and the availability of fresh fruits was a nice bonus.
The room, though cozy, felt a bit on the small side for more than a single-night stay, which could be cramped if traveling with more gear. Parking was a bit of a hassle. finding a good spot during busy hours was trickier than expected. some furnishings showed signs of wear, which detracted slightly from the room's overall vibe. I noticed a soapy handprint on the shower door handle upon arrival, indicating that cleanliness might benefit from a sharper eye during turnover.

the breakfast was amazin, i had a food allergy and they were really careful with what i could eat. jane and her husband were super friendly and helpful, always makin sure i was comfortable. the room was cozy with a lovely view, really nice experience overall. love the thought of the tea and coffe in the room, they had loads! definetly gonna stay here again for sure.
only thing i could say is there was not much variety in the snacks and drinks on offer at night. also, parking was a bit tricky even tho they provide vouchers.

Exceptional hospitality and fantastic breakfast
I had a wonderful stay with incredibly warm and welcoming hosts. The breakfast was a highlight, offering fresh, customized options that catered perfectly to my dietary preferences. The location was right by the beach, making it easy to enjoy the coastal views during my visit. A minor improvement could be made with the room's furniture, which felt a bit dated but did not detract from my overall positive experience.
